Is the leader of Big Bang. Has been trained by YG Entertainment since the age of twelve, often at the side of fellow member Tae Yang; their speculative debut name was GDYB. He often composes and produces the group’s material. G-Dragon is also very interested in fashion and is known to be very avant-garde about his stylistic choices.





Seung Ri “The Lazy One”

He initially joined Battle Shinhwa, a reality show aiming to find the next Shinhwa; he was rejected after the 13th episode. He later tried out for Big Bang and was successful. Seung Ri is the “little brother” of Big Bang. One of his greater talents is dancing and choreographing performances. Before Big Bang, Seung Ri was part of a Gwangju dance team, II Hwa. Seung Ri was the first member to be in a musical, Sonagi. Seung Ri is also the second member to debut as an actor, after T.O.P. He is in “Why did you come to our house?” which will be released at the end of 2008.

Is known as the ‘big brother’ of the band. Before joining Big Bang, he performed in underground clubs as a rapper, and eventually received recognition by winning KBS’s “Rap Battle” in 2003. Another one of his talents is acting, which was displayed Korean Drama “I am Sam.” Garnering much attention for his talent, he was also casted a role in the up and coming drama “Iris.” Aside from his role in Big Bang, his reach has expanded as he’s been included in collaborations with other artists, including Red Roc’s “Hello,” Singer Gummy (singer)’s music video “I’m Sorry”, and Uhm Jung-hwa for “D.I.S.C.O.”





Tae Yang “The Barefist”

Tae Yang started out as a rapper, but is now the main vocalist of Big Bang. He is known to be shy, sweet, thoughtful, and the most sensitive member of the group. He was the first one to release a solo album, called HOT during the summer of 2008 and had his first solo concert. Tae Yang is also well known for his free style dancing capabilities, which have become more prominent and exposed since the debut.






Dae Sung “The Smiling Angel”

Dae Sung was first known thought of as “ugly” and an “unpretty boy,” by much of the YG staff, but since then has won much acclaim, often being cited as the most liked member in Big Bang. He has a talent of imitating people and also has a great sense of humor. Dae Sung is the second Big Bang member to star in a musical, the Korean adaptation of cats (musical). During the 2008 MKMF, his act with Korean superstar Lee Hyori was voted one of the best acts of the night. He is also a permanent fixture on Family Outing, a variety show that is part of SBS’s Good Sunday line-up. He also released two trot singles in 2008.
